Aeroexpress is by far the most convenient way to travel from Sheremetyevo to Moscow city and I would gladly give them four out of five stars if it weren't for two things:
1) Lack of, or hidden, information.
They change departure platforms without prior notice. They restrict the validity of the tickets to a month without clearly stating it on the ticket (but as they pointed out: if I had taken the time to read the list of rules and regulations at the ticket counters I would have know; hint: I don't want to read a list of rules and regulations -- I just want to get from A to B in a smooth way, and using your commons sense should be enough).
2) Very inflexible customer service.
While the staff is generally polite and helpful, the rules they have to follow, or that they hide behind, are extremely inflexible. When I explained that I would like to use the second trip on my return ticket since I had actually paid for it, they just said that it is only valid for a month (which in my opinion is a ridiculously short time). Theoretically speaking they are perfectly right, the rules state that the ticket is in fact only valid a month. However, seeing to the situation and granting me to use the ticket would have generated a happy customer, now they got a frustrated customer. (And setting a reasonable validity time in the first place would have been even better, a year would have been good.)
Was it worth it for them? Do they care?
I don't know, but there aren't many travel options for me to get smoothly from Sheremetyevo to Moscow city so I will definitely use them again, but I'm not as happy about them as I used to be.Вчера 22 12 13 попал в неприятную ситуация и хотел предупредить об этом другихв составе экипажа выехали с Павелецкого на Домодедово отправились в 1000 и прибыли в1030трое наших прошли через турникет а мой билет почему то не сработал-двери не открываютсяобращаюсь за помощью к дежурной показываю свой билет говорю посмотри и проверь время и дату покупки билета - вместо помощи вопль вы испортили билет-платите еще разговорю позовите старшего но вместо ревизора-контролера прибыл старший охраны и опять по новой -плати еще разкровь прилила в голову от такой не справедливости думаю буть что будет- рванул через турникет слышу охранники орут -гаси его загоняй в уголно тут вмешались ребята из экипажа и о чудо гоблины почему то сразу успокоились-говорят что свободенпочитал правила оказалось что билет пассажир обязан хранить и предьявлять на контроль а о том что он каким то образом может быть испорчен и должен не должен открывать турникет-ни словаа гоблины видно вместе с дежурной постоянно стригут одиночных пассажиров-ВОРЬЕ !!!
